Can you get sublingual sermorelin online?

Yes, from a small number of providers. Of the six sermorelin telehealth providers we track, only bmiMD and Strut Health publish an oral or sublingual option — the rest are injectable only. Sublingual sermorelin is a compounded prescription preparation requiring the same medical evaluation and prescription as the injectable form. Be aware that the evidence base for sublingual absorption is thinner than for injection.

Ratings are our own editorial scores, not customer ratings. "Not published" means the provider does not disclose that detail publicly — we do not assume a value. Pricing, treatment availability and state coverage may change; confirm current details directly with the provider. Last verified 2026-08-04.

    How These Providers Were Ranked

Each provider is scored against weighted criteria: medical oversight (20%), pricing and value (20%), transparency (15%), treatment options (10%), state availability (10%), customer support (10%), user experience (5%), shipping and convenience (5%), and subscription flexibility (5%). Scores are editorial, not customer ratings, and commercial relationships do not determine rankings. The full weighting and scoring process is published on our editorial methodology page.

    What sublingual sermorelin is

Sublingual sermorelin is a compounded preparation intended to dissolve under the tongue or in the mouth — usually supplied as a troche or lozenge — rather than being injected subcutaneously. The active ingredient is the same; what changes is the route of administration.

It is prepared by a compounding pharmacy against a prescription, exactly as an injectable preparation is, and carries the same regulatory status: compounded medications are not FDA-approved.

    The evidence limitation, stated plainly

This is the part most pages selling sublingual peptides skip. Peptides are generally poorly absorbed through oral and sublingual routes — they are relatively large molecules and are susceptible to enzymatic breakdown before reaching circulation. The bulk of published sermorelin research uses subcutaneous injection, so the clinical evidence supporting the injectable route does not automatically transfer to a lozenge.

That does not mean sublingual preparations do nothing. It means the evidence base is thinner, and anyone telling you the two routes are equivalent is going beyond what the research supports. If you are considering a sublingual format because you would rather not inject — which is a perfectly reasonable preference — raise the absorption question directly with the prescribing clinician and ask what they base their answer on.

    How the prescription process works

Identical to the injectable route: an online medical intake, a licensed clinician review, a prescription issued only where treatment is judged appropriate, and fulfilment by a licensed compounding pharmacy. The format you prefer is one input into the clinician's decision, not a way around it. See our prescription guide for the full process.

    Questions to ask your clinician

    • What evidence supports the sublingual route for this medication?
    • How does the prescribed dose differ between formats, and why?
    • How will we assess whether the format is working for me?
    • Would you recommend injection over a lozenge in my case, and if so why?
    • How should the preparation be stored, and what is its shelf life?

For a broader look at how the formats differ in practice, see our treatment formats overview, or compare the injectable programs on our sermorelin injections page.
